Sauté de Boeuf à La Parisienne




Well we did it the evening was a success in under 2 1/2 hours we cooked a delicous french meal. We discovered that knowing when the butter's foam was subsiding was not quite as easy as was stated in the directions, but we figured it out anyways! (With minimal cursing at that!) I believe that the Fuck word was only used about a dozen times and the Goddamn word was used about half as frequently.




I was worried that four people in my tiny kitchen would be too many, but I discovered that while it might make it a little cramped during the cooking it makes for a quick and easy cleanup (which is the way I like it!).




The meat was delectable and the potatoes tasted like butter! Literally! They were very delicous and very fattening, I can actually feel my ass growing as I sit here and write this. Ah well such is life and I would rather die a dumpling than a dried up washed out prune. Besides I can always go induce vomitting at a later date if need be. I say that knowing full well that I don't have the dicipline for such gestures.
