

This recipe came to me through a dear friend Kirstyn, from her mother Wendi. The original recipe called for simply chicken and shrimp, but not being one to follow instructions substituted half of the chicken with Andouille sausage to give this already tasty dish a little extra kick. My favorite thing about the whole dish is the ease with which it can be prepared and as with any stew like dish the intermingling of flavors that occurs as the dish "ages."
